ENABLING TECHNOLOGIES SUB-COMMITTEE

Focused to develop and demonstrate technologies that enable or compliment the use of energetics and warheads in DoD weapon systems as well as research and development of enabling technologies that are relevant to weapons systems proposed to be utilized by the DOD. Applicable initiative areas include advancement of novel fabrication processes, nano-technologies, advanced materials, prototype development, modeling and simulation, advanced fabrication and techniques in welding, casting, sintering or forging of metals, advanced polymers, plastics, ceramics, packaging, design for demil, robotic weapons systems as well as prototype development, verification and testing.
