Downloadable Membership Application Form (DOC) Consortium Member Agreement (CMA) The foundational Other Transaction Agreement (OTA) for the Department of Defense Ordnance Technology Consortium (DOTC) was recently renewed between the U.S. Government and the National Warheads and Energetics Consortium (NWEC). The current agreement will continue through 2015. Individual companies desiring to participate in the technology initiatives of the NWEC must become members of the consortium by agreeing to the Consortium Member Agreement (CMA). Prior to receiving any funding thru the OTA, NWEC member companies must also sign an Ordnance Technology Base Agreement that contains the basic terms and conditions of the new Other Transaction Agreement (OTA). Although executing an Ordnance Technology Base Agreement is not required for initial membership, you may request a copy for review by contacting the NWEC Consortium Management Firm. (Note: Signing the Membership Application affirms you have read and understand the Other Transaction Base Agreement). In order to become a member of NWEC, your organization must be an American-owned or controlled entity. If you wish to become a member please review the CMA carefully, complete the linked application and return the application along with a signed hard copy signature page (page 46) of the CMA. Please fax the signed pages to Bill Ervin at 480-704-7686 or e-mail scanned files to billervin@comcast.net. Your application will be distributed to the NWEC Executive Committee for review and approval. Upon receipt of their approval, you will receive an invoice for the $500 membership fee, which must be renewed each October. Your initial membership fee will be pro-rated based on the effective date of your membership approval. As agreed, by signing the CMA, each award made to a member is assessed 0.5% of the total award amount by the NWEC which is used to offset operating expenses. The percentage assessed may be adjusted in the future to ensure sufficient operating funds. Members are urged to join and participate in the subcommittees, because it has been shown to be mutually beneficial for business and the expansion of the technology base.
